What is a sponsored ad?
A sponsored ad is a much larger (up to 750 words) and more detailed ad we offer to sponsors of KAMR. A sponsored ad will expire after two years. Our sponsored ads can be searched by title, status, church name, location, keyword, and date. KAMR depends on the sponsorship of churches to provide a free site for the entire Korean-American Christian community.
What is a free ad?
A free ad is a short ad (up to 40 words) that we offer to Korean-American ministries to post their ministry openings for free. A free ad will expire after one year. Free ads are simply listed by date submitted, hence there is no search functionality.
I have submitted my free ad, how long will it take to post on the site?
It should post within one or two weeks.
I have submitted my free ad several times and I don't see it on the free ad page. What happened?
If you post a free ad and it does not show up on the free ad page, the most common reason is because there is a duplicate ad on the free ad page that is less than one year old. Please re-submit the ad after one year has passed. We do not allow duplicate ads or renewals (ads put on top) for free ads until one year has passed.
How long will my free ad remain on KAMR's website?
Free ads remain for up to one year. They are automatically deleted after one year. It is our board's policy that free ads cannot be renewed (put to the top of the page) until one year has passed, however you may change the contact information or position description by contacting us. If the position has been filled, please contact us and we will be happy to remove the free ad.
How long will my sponsored ad remain on KAMR's website?
Sponsored ads will remain for two years. If you want a new position advertised, you must submit new sponsorship. If we are unable to contact you after one year has passed the sponsored ad will be automatically deleted.
How long will it take to post my sponsored ad on the site?
Normally, sponsored ads post within 24 hours after sponsorship is received. It is our board's policy to post ads after we receive sponsorship.
I have filled out the submission form but have not heard back in more than two weeks. What should I do?
If you have not heard back in more than two weeks it means either that your emails are not getting through, or we have been replying but you are not receiving our emails for some reason. Call us at the number below and someone will return your call.
What is the average cost of sponsorship?
Our average financial sponsorship per ad has been around $300-400 (one time) per ad but this figure is just an average. Our recommendation for churches is to sponsor this amount since $300-400 is what a typical Korean newspaper charges for an ad, and our ads reach a much larger audience that's focused on pastoral ministry. 100% of all contributions are used towards our ministry. We are a ministry that is run solely by ordained ministers who volunteer our time for KAMR, no one who serves in our ministry is paid for their services.
Why post a sponsored ad with KAMR?
KAMR has had a very good success rate in our sponsored ads section because we target and specialize only in Korean-American ministries, and have found more than 200 pastors for churches through our ministry. KAMR receives thousands of visits per month, mostly from Korean-American pastors, seminarians, and church leaders.
How do I post a sponsored ad with KAMR?
Go to the upper right of the screen where it says 'Make a Submission' and click 'Submit an Opening'.
I want to remove my old sponsored ad replace it with a new ad, will the ad go on top?
The only way a sponsored ad can go on top is if you delete the old ad and submit new sponsorship. As long as the sponsored ad has the same title, we can change any of the description information. However, if you want a new position advertised we require new sponsorship.
Can I edit or remove the listing after it has been posted?
Yes, if you discover an error or want to change anything please contact us.
